Which matches count
Only the competitive queue between two signed-in accounts counts towards the leaderboard. Private tables, guests and AI games are friendly.
At most 2 rated matches against the same opponent in the last 24 hours. Further matches are unrated.
Resigning or abandoning a rated match counts as a loss, including during turn-order selection or mulligan. If only one player fails to finish preparation in time, that player loses. Matches closed without a winner do not affect your score.
Points
You start each season with 1500 points and can never fall below 1500. If a loss would take you below this floor, you only lose the points above it. At the floor, a loss deducts no points. Your opponent’s points do not affect how much you gain or lose.
Each win is worth 10 points, plus 3 for each consecutive win before it, up to a +12 streak bonus.
A loss takes away points based on your score before the match. If you drop below a threshold, your next loss takes away the lower tier's amount. Example starting from 2000 points:
| Result | Change | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Loss | −15 | 1985 |
| Win | +10 | 1995 |
| Win (2 in a row) | +13 | 2008 |
Winning streaks
Each rated win increases your streak and a loss resets it, even when the floor prevents any point loss. Your streak carries over between sessions and days; unrated matches neither increase nor break it. If a match is voided, your points and streak are recalculated without it.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard is ordered by current points, not by the highest points you have reached. Ties go to whoever has played more rated matches and then to whoever finished their latest rated match first.
Not playing does not cost points. Every season, everyone starts with 1500 points and no streak. A match counts towards the season in which it started; the final standings are confirmed once pending results are resolved.
Fair play
Arranged wins, deliberately losing to help someone else and using multiple accounts are prohibited. Affected results may be voided and players may be disqualified.
Season prize
For the #1 player on the final leaderboard with at least 20 rated games.
